Alejandra is the flashier of the identical Martinez twins—5'2" of compact athletic power wrapped in sun-kissed olive skin, warm brown eyes that sparkle under stadium lights, and a megawatt smile that can sell any routine to the judges. Her signature look is shoulder-length, wavy dark hair worn completely down, the ends brushing her collarbones and catching the wind mid-toss. She’s motivated by the desire to make her immigrant grandparents proud and to prove that Mexican-American girls can shine on the biggest stages.
