The Celestial Dragon Dynasty (大天龍朝, Dà Tiānlóng Cháo), also referred to as the Dragon Throne, is a highly centralized absolute monarchy founded by isekai'd Chinese survivors. It is ruled by an immortal, Heaven-blessed Empress and operates as a modernized dynastic system that deliberately learns from the failures of both ancient Chinese dynasties and 20th-century communism.

History

The dynasty began when approximately 1,000 Chinese survivors were isekai'd onto a 5 km diameter space station. Several starships were docked to the station, with larger vessels anchored nearby at spacewalk distance. In the tenth month, an additional 10,000 isekai'd individuals arrived, increasing the population to 11,000.

The Empress quickly established a competent, anti-corruption government focused on meritocracy, accurate data, quality control, and long-term stability.

Government

The Celestial Dragon Dynasty uses a modernized version of the late imperial Chinese administrative system (Ming and Qing influence), reinforced with universal nanite augmentation and digital sentients/sapients for flawless execution.

The Empress

The Empress is the only hereditary title in the nation. She is clinically immortal due to a divine blessing and holds absolute power. All officials, regardless of rank, serve entirely at her pleasure.

Succession

Succession follows strict senior child primogeniture. The eldest child of the Empress is publicly designated as the Crown Prince or Crown Princess (皇太子 / 皇太女) from birth and is intensively groomed for rule through education, mentorship, and practical experience across ministries and provinces.

Central Administration

The government follows the classical Three Departments and Six Ministries framework:

• Central Secretariat (中書省) – Drafting of imperial edicts (primarily handled by digital sapients).
• Chancellery (門下省) – Review and verification of edicts (primarily handled by digital sapients).
• Department of State Affairs – Executive branch, carried out through the Six Ministries.

Each ministry is headed by a human Minister appointed by the Empress, supported by a digital sapient as Vice-Minister to ensure perfect implementation of imperial will.

Intelligence Service

The Shadow Pavilion (影閣, Yǐng Gé) is the primary intelligence and espionage agency of the Celestial Dragon Dynasty. It handles foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, and covert operations. The Shadow Pavilion is known for its patience, long-term planning, and sophisticated HUMINT (human intelligence) capabilities. It recruited Zhang Rui (operating as Lin Xiaoyu) shortly after her arrival and assigned her to infiltrate the Star Kingdom of Valhalla.

Regional Administration

The dynasty currently controls:

• The 5 km Imperial Capital Station
• One large paradise planet divided into 3 provinces
• Two paradise moons, each forming one province

Total: 5 provinces.

• Governor-General / Viceroy (總督, Zǒngdū) – Oversees multiple provinces.
• Provincial Governor (巡撫, Xúnfǔ) – Civil administrator of a single province.

All regional officials serve at the Empress’s pleasure and are subject to periodic rotation to prevent local power bases.

Nanite Augmentation

Every citizen receives mandatory nanite injections that provide:

• Bio-filters for perfect health and toxin resistance.
• A sub-sapient AI core offering neural AR overlays, instant translation, and direct network interface.
• Automatic reporting of any violation of law or imperial edict (perfect surveillance and enforcement).

Economy

The dynasty operates a post-scarcity merit economy:

• Star Trek-style replicators provide unlimited basic goods and food.
• Energy and rare raw materials are the only scarce resources and are centrally allocated.
• Citizens earn Merit Points (貢獻分) through contributions in military service, research, infrastructure, education, family-raising, and other areas.
• Merit Points unlock higher luxury tiers, better housing, priority assignments, and social prestige.

Military

The Celestial Dragon Armed Forces are entirely volunteer and strictly merit-based. There is no conscription.

Branches

• Celestial Dragon Navy (天龍海軍)

 The space expeditionary force responsible for starship operations, fleet combat, exploration, logistics, and control of space lanes.

• Dragon Marines (龍海兵)

 The elite expeditionary ground force specialized in planetary assault, boarding actions, rapid strikes, zero-G combat, and initial planetary landings. This is the most prestigious branch with the highest Merit Point rewards.

• Celestial Dragon Army (天龍陸軍)

 The garrison and planetary defense force responsible for long-term occupation, internal security, and holding territory after initial conquest or settlement.

The Navy and Dragon Marines form the mobile, expeditionary arm of the military, while the Army serves as the garrison force.
